p.s. is it not too much to ask for a local netflix store to be available for those who would like to drop off and pick up items off their queue. or does that defeat some sort of purpose?
i think it'll actually be more efficient. they should take me on as an operations consultant.

Doubtful Netflix will ever open up a retail location any time soon, they would lose money having to operate via overhead costs of leasing out a location, utilities, employees, equipment, etc. If they are like most companies, I'm sure they are thinking if the system isn't broke, why would they fix it. It would only be more efficient for us.
ReplyDeleteyeah i know...but in expanding their company they would be helping the economy by providing jobs, providing business to the commercial real estate market, equipment would be written off just like in any other business, and we wouldn't have to wait 2 days in order to watch our 3 discs in 6 hours just to send them back and wait 2 more days. we'll see what the future holds.
ReplyDeleteYo. I def feel you on the retail store thing. When i did block buster i would just swap em out and still get movies sent. So all in all i was holding like 6 movies at a time. Come up!!! Now with netfliks i've had the same ones for like a month or something. I think i'm allergic to mailboxes.
